The Grand Patron of the PBAT Door-To-Door Campaign, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, made the call on Thursday at the inauguration of the state chapter of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, during which he donated 25 vehicles for campaigns across the state.
Tompolo announced the donation through his representative, Kestin Pondi, the managing director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, even as he stressed the need for the people of Ekiti to massively vote President Tinubu as a highly respected and loved Yoruba son.
He said: “Today, we have an economy that is stable because of President Tinubu. Today, governors have money to pay salaries, pension and they have money to execute projects because President Bola Ahmed Tinubu chose to be bold enough to remove petrol subsidy and to implement the reformative policies he put forward.
“When you come into a person’s house where his brother is contesting elections and you tell the person that you want him for vote for his candidate brother, it could sound insulting.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is your son, brother and in some instances your father, as well as the father of Nigeria, so I would say, we are here to support you to vote for your brother.
“We are here to support you to mobilise to get all the votes that are available for your brother. Part of the support are these vehicles, which are to move from door-to-door, from unit to unit, from ward to ward, from local government to local government, from constituency to constituency and from mosques to mosques and churches to churches.

“Our ultimate goal is to garner votes across the country to ensure the president completes his reformation agenda.”
Tompolo called on members and leaders of the movement to make judicious use of the vehicles as well as other campaign equipment and tools to take the message of President Tinubu’s reelection to the grassroots.
In his speech at the rally, the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, said victory is sure for the president in his state.
Mr Oyebanji described President Tinubu as the second reason for the success he has recorded as governor, stressing that Ekiti must reward the president with a minimum of 80 per cent of votes come January 2027.
“My plea to Ekiti people is this: that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win in Ekiti is not in contention is but by how much?
“In the last election, Ekiti people voted 85.7 per cent in favour of APC. That will be the first time that kind of margin will happen in this state for any political party. And by my own understanding and readings, is that they (voters) did that because this government has served them, and they want a continuity of the government that has served them.
“I consistently to tell Ekiti people, we are 30 years old as a state and there’s no president that has been this fair, this good to Ekiti more than Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. If Ekiti people came out and voted in favour of APC in June so that our good works can continue, the only way I’ll be able to continue to serve you is if Asiwaju is reelected. Because everything we have achieved in this state, after God, is the president. I won’t be able to do anything on my own without the support of the president.
“So my plea to you is, chances are that by next year, yes, January next year, Ekiti votes will be the first to be announced as it happened in 2023. But anything less than 80 per cent of total votes cast or total PVC collected will be unacceptable because the only way we can thank the president for what he has done is for us to come out and vote for him.
“And I’m pleading with all of us that the mistake that happened in June should not repeat itself, where people said that either we vote or we don’t vote, ‘Baba’ will win. It’s not going to work in January. So those people that had PVC that did not come out and vote, we have to go and locate them”, the governor stated.
Mr Oyebanji also commended Tompolo for the donation from the Movement and for boldly supporting the president, saying, “on behalf of the government and the people of Ekiti State, we are extremely grateful to you for what you are doing for the country. Because anybody that is campaigning for the re-election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, loves Nigeria. Whoever doesn’t support his re-election is an enemy of this country. And I sat down there listening to Dr. Pondi, and he was mentioning the members of this movement. And I told myself that this is a big challenge to us in Ekiti”.
Also speaking at the rally, Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, commended Tompolo for taking the campaign for Tinubu’ reelection across the country. He assured that Ekiti will give Tinubu maiority of its votes.
“In Ekiti State, I will say, coming here is like coming to preach to the converted. For us in Ekiti State, just like our governor has been preaching, that whatever you have seen him doing in the state, these are what President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has enabled him to do and that after God, it’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“For us in Ekiti we want our governor to continue with his good works and for him to continue with the good work, we must return President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Mr Arabisoye stated.
Earlier, the National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Sunday Asuku, called on the people of Ekiti State to turn out massively to vote for Tinubu.

Mr Asuku took time to reel out President Tinubu’s achievements, stressing that the opposition only have fake promises to offer the people.
He said: “It is time to demystify the propaganda being peddled around by the naysayers. If you observe keenly, that is because they have nothing to say. As I usually say, most of them they have held one position or the other in the past. We must learn to ask them questions. While you were in office, what did you do? Give us what you did while you were in office. Tell us, what do you want to come and do? Some of them are acting as if they forgot something in Aso-Rock.
The national coordinator urged members of the Movement to go the extra mile by speaking to voters from door to door, city to city and even at gatherings.
