Africa Front is an independent pan-African news publication. Our newsroom writes original reports on African and world events, covering politics, business, technology, sports, and breaking news across all 54 African nations.
Mission & coverage priorities
Our mission is to give African and world news a single, reliable home. We prioritise stories of public interest across the five African regions and major world events — governance, the economy, technology, and sport — and aim to cover the continent as a whole rather than a single country. We weigh stories by significance and reach, not by who can pay for placement.
How we report
Every Africa Frontreport is compiled and cross-checked from at least five independent, established news sources before publication, then written in our own words. We do not republish other publishers' articles, and we cite the sources behind each story so readers can trace the facts to their origin. We report only what the sources support — we do not invent quotes, figures, names, or events.
Fact-checking & verification
A story is only published if it is corroborated by multiple independent sources. Before a report goes live it is checked against those sources: unverified figures and unsupported quotes are removed, single-source claims are rejected, and any report that cannot be confirmed is discarded rather than published. We would rather publish nothing than publish something we cannot stand behind.
Sources & attribution
Africa Frontauthors every report published here. Where our reporting draws on another outlet's coverage, we cite and link to it in the Sources section of each article. We respect copyright and source attribution at all times and never reproduce full third-party articles.
Ownership & funding
Africa Front is owned and operated by DL Origin. The site is free to read and funded by advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertising has no influence over which stories we cover or how we report them.
Search engine indexing
This site is built for crawlability. We provide XML sitemaps, Google News sitemaps, RSS feeds, structured data (JSON-LD), HTML site maps, and internal linking across topics, regions, archives, and publisher pages. Crawlers are welcome on all public pages.
