iOS 27 is compatible with all the same iPhones as last year’s iOS 26, but almost every other software platform drops multiple devices this year. Here’s the full list of 16 products no longer supported in macOS Golden Gate, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, and tvOS 27.

Here are all the Apple products dropped from this year’s new software releases

MacBook Pro (13‑inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)

MacBook Pro (16‑inch, 2019)

I dont understand why Apple would drop support for the Apple watch ultra when thats a 3 year old watch about to be 4 when the ultra 4 comes out . Seems apple messed up on that one .

Apple Watch models that can’t run watchOS 27, with watchOS 26 the last supported version:

Apple Watch Ultra

Apple Watch Series 8

Apple Watch Series 7

Apple Watch Series 6

Apple Watch SE (2nd generation)

Apple TV models that can’t run tvOS 27, with tvOS 26 the last supported version:

Apple TV 4K (1st generation)

Apple TV HD

Only iOS 27 and HomePod 27 support the full set of devices that were compatible with last year’s OS 26 updates.

Will Apple’s new software versions lead you to upgrade any of your devices? If not, why not? Let us know in the comments.
