Brazil Top Group and Set Up World Cup Clash With Japan
Brazil have topped their group at the 2026 World Cup and booked a round-of-32 meeting with Japan.
The five-time champions opened with a 1-1 draw against Morocco before finding their rhythm, beating Haiti 3-0 and rounding off the group stage with a 3-0 win over Scotland to finish first.
The knockout tie with Japan is scheduled for June 29 at NRG Stadium in Houston, where Brazil will aim to continue their momentum against an organised Japanese side.
With the field now narrowing, Brazil will be among the teams expected to push deep into the tournament.
