Murder investigation after man dies on street

A 22-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 49-year-old man who was initially found injured on a street.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the man died "despite the best efforts of paramedics" called to Church Street, Welshpool, Powys, in the early hours of Sunday.
The police said its officers were called to Church Street at 01:16 BST and that they were looking to speak to anyone who might have footage of a disturbance, "or the people involved".
"Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones," added the force.
Church Street was closed while officers carried out inquiries in the area, but reopened on Sunday afternoon.
There will be an additional police presence in the area over the coming days as the investigation continues, the force said.
The 22-year-old man remains in police custody.
