South African president Cyril Ramaphosa has failed to stop the work of a committee investigating allegations of misconduct against him. If they are confirmed, he risks possible impeachment over scandals sparked by claims that he didn't declare millions of dollars he stashed into a sofa at his Phala Phala gamer farm before they were stolen.
