UFC Fight Night start time for Renato Moicano vs. Tom Nolan: Where to watch live on Paramount+

Former UFC lightweight title challenger Renato Moicano will face off with rising contender Tom Nolan in something of a crossroads fight on Saturday. The lightweight contest anchors UFC Fight Night from the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

Moicano rode a four-fight winning streak to a last-minute title shot against then UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev when an injury to Arman Tsarukyan left a void atop the UFC 311 card. While Moicano lost to Makhachev -- and then to Beneil Dariush -- he has bounced back with a pair of victories as he looks to climb to a title shot once again.

Much like the opportunity afforded to Moicano when Tsarukyan was injured, Nolan is benefiting from a bout between Moicano and Brian Ortega falling apart twice. Moicano was happy to take a fight with a less-known fighter than wait for another booking against Ortega.

The co-main event resembles the marquee fight. Jacobe Smith is foaming at the mouth for a ranking. Beating an experienced veteran like Randy Brown, 36, would do wonders for the 30-year-old's campaign. Smith boasts a serious wrestling pedigree as an NCAA Division I All-American representing Oklahoma State, but he's a born fighter. Smith has a mean streak, evident in his interviews and his seven straight stoppages. Taking out Brown will be his warning shot to the division.

Elsewhere on Saturday, flyweights get a featured spot when Cody Durden takes on Ode Osbourne. And veteran women's bantamweights collide when Luana Santos takes on Yana Santos. Finally, welterweights open the main card when Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani faces off against Farman Hasanov.

Below is how you can catch all the action on Saturday in Las Vegas. Also, be sure to check out our full preview and expert picks for the main event.
