'Unexplained neurological symptoms' behind Henderson absence

TreVeyon Henderson says "a series of unexplained neurological symptoms", which resulted in him being admitted to hospital, are the reason for his absence for the New England Patriots.
The 24-year-old running back was listed on his side's injury report on 29 October with an illness and missed the win against the Miami Dolphins last weekend.
The Patriots have listed Henderson as not having taken part in practice prior to Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, a game he is expected to miss.
"Recently, I experienced an unexpected and unusual medical emergency involving a series of unexplained neurological symptoms that required hospitalisation for several days," said Henderson in a statement on social media., external
"During that time, I underwent extensive medical testing and evaluation. While the results of my comprehensive medical testing have come back positive and reassuring, the cause of this remains unknown and unexplainable.
"I will continue working closely with specialists and physical therapists to focus on my recovery, as these symptoms have affected my strength, co-ordination, and some of my physical functions.
"I am committed to doing everything necessary to return to full health. My health and long-term wellbeing remain my foremost priorities."
Henderson has figured six times for the Patriots this season, registering one touchdown and rushing for 203 yards from 52 attempts.
