How Vodacom helps South Africans save, connect and enjoy more this Summer #LetsDoSummer
Vodacom’s Summer 2026/27 campaign is designed to make summer even more rewarding, offering customers daily Scratch & Win opportunities and exclusive Summer Deals, including a VodaPay 20GB offer for just R129.
You can feel it before summer officially arrives. The days grow longer, the sun lingers later, and conversations turn to holiday plans, family visits, beach days and road trips. Suitcases come out, playlists are prepared and children count down to carefree days in the sun.
Across South Africa, families head for the coast, visit grandparents, explore new destinations or return to favourite holiday spots. Friends organise get-togethers, and long weekends offer opportunities to escape the everyday.
Wherever the road leads, staying connected matters. From sharing photographs with grandparents to checking that everyone has arrived safely, connectivity helps families remain close, even when they are miles apart.
With its #Let'sDoSummer campaign, Vodacom is bringing more ways to connect, play and win throughout the season.
The campaign combines digital rewards and opportunities to win, encouraging eligible customers to make more of summer.
Summer is full of surprises, from an unexpected detour to a spontaneous family adventure. With Vodacom Summer Scratch & Win, there is another discovery to anticipate.
Available through VodaPay and participating campaign channels, the daily scratch-card experience gives eligible customers a chance to win instant prizes.
Under the published campaign rules, participants receive up to three free plays daily across participating channels.
Once these are used, they can purchase up to five additional plays per day at one VodaBuck per play, subject to the rules and limits. Free plays expire at the end of the day and do not carry over.
For prepaid customers planning their summer budgets, one of the campaign’s key offers is a 20GB Summer Deal for R129, valid for 30 days and available exclusively through the VodaPay app.
The bundle gives customers several ways to use their connectivity, whether they are sharing summer adventures, making calls, watching videos or saving eligible data-intensive activity for later in the evening.
To access the deal, eligible customers should open the VodaPay app and look for the Summer offer. They should check the displayed price, bundle allocations, validity and applicable terms before confirming their purchase.
Featured brands also include Pick n Pay, Krispy Kreme, Hungry Lion, Kauai, Vida e Caffè and Shell. Rewards depend on the outcome of each play and applicable conditions; winning is not guaranteed.
To participate, open or download the VodaPay app, find Summer Scratch & Win and follow the on-screen instructions. Check the app for available plays, reward details and redemption requirements.
The promotion is open to eligible Vodacom Prepaid, Hybrid/Top-Up and Postpaid customers, as well as qualifying Vodacom Business customers, subject to the campaign rules.
From the first signs of summer to the last glow of sunset, #Let'sDoSummer is an invitation to stay in touch, share the journey and discover more of what the season brings.
