The inauguration brings together key party leaders and political stakeholders under a unified campaign structure to coordinate mobilisation and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Namadi ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The council has Deputy Governor Aminu Usman, former Governor Ali Sa’adu Birnin Kudu, former Governor Ibrahim Saminu Turaki, and the state’s APC chairman, Ahmad Garba MK, as Deputy Chairmen.
Other principal officers include Senator Muhammad Ibrahim and Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia as vice chairmen for North-East I and II, respectively; Hon Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin and Hon Farouk Adamu Aliyu as vice chairmen for South-West I and II; and Isa Gerawa and Mrs Rabi Ishaq as vice chairmen for North-West I and II.
Speaking after the inauguration, Governor Namadi said the integration of the presidential and governorship campaign structures was intended to strengthen coordination and give the party a united platform for its 2027 election campaign.
He expressed satisfaction with the turnout at the event, describing it as a demonstration of the APC’s strength and continued presence across Jigawa State.
The governor said the gathering had further strengthened his confidence in the party’s readiness to secure victory at all levels in the forthcoming elections.

He called on party leaders and supporters to work together towards the re-election of President Tinubu, his return as governor, and the election of APC candidates to the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Jigawa State House of Assembly.
“By the grace of Allah, we are confident that we will deliver victory for Mr President, the Governor, our Senators, members of the House of Representatives and members of the State House of Assembly,” Namadi said.
Namadi also expressed confidence that Jigawa State would meet the expectation of delivering two million votes for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
“Judging by what we have witnessed today, we are confident that we will deliver those votes for Mr President, Insha Allah.”
Also speaking at the event, the two former governors of Jigawa State, Ali Sa’adu Birnin Kudu and Senator Ibrahim Saminu Turaki, commended Governor Namadi for his remarkable achievements in delivering people-orientated projects and driving development across the state in less than four years in office, expressing confidence that the administration’s achievements would serve as a strong campaign asset and enhance the APC’s chances of victory in the forthcoming elections.
Ali Sa’adu Birnin Kudu described Governor Namadi as a man of integrity and accountability, saying that his administration’s record left little room for criticism.
“Today in Jigawa, everybody agrees that Governor Namadi is an honest man. Nobody can question his integrity or accuse him of mismanaging public funds. Anyone who says anything negative about him does so out of envy, hatred or jealousy, because there is nothing to fault him for,” he said.
Similarly, Ibrahim Saminu Turaki described Governor Namadi as a fair, principled and compassionate leader, saying that his administration had made remarkable strides in infrastructure development and education.
He particularly cited the improvement in road infrastructure across the state and the recruitment of thousands of teachers, which he said has never been done since his time in office.
“Can anyone point to another state in Nigeria today with excellent road networks comparable to those in Jigawa? Since I left the office, no teachers had been recruited. There were schools that had to close down because of a shortage of teachers. Who, today, has recruited thousands of teachers as Governor Namadi has done?” he asked.
