What do BBC Sport's player ratings mean?
Crystal Palace
Dean Henderson: Made a couple of good saves though was well beaten for all three goals. 5
Jefferson Lerma: Initially battled well against the visitors frontline but Liverpool's quality was too much. 4
Chris Richards: Part of a backline that had their work cut out and ultimately conceded three goals that were far too easy. 4
Axel Disasi: Like Lerma and Richards, kept Alexander Isak quiet for most the game but punished in the end. 4
Oscar Mingueza: The Spaniard was good on the ball but perhaps didn't push forward enough. 5
Adam Wharton: Tidy in possession and had a glancing header saved by Alisson though wasn't able to dictate the tempo of the game. 5
Quinten Timber: Lost Mac Allister for the first goal. Played some good deliveries but his decision-making was poor. Replaced on the hour mark. 4
Tyrick Mitchell: Was really good going forward and found Pino who hit the bar, before teeing up Kamada, who forced a save from Alisson. 6
Daichi Kamada: Nearly scored with a solid volley but on the whole, didn't do enough to challenge Kerkez down Liverpool's left. 5
Yeremy Pino: One of the few positives for Palace. Hit the woodwork in the first half and constantly posed Liverpool problems with his quality. Unlucky not to score. 7
Jorgen Strand Larsen: Had a couple of openings in the first-half and did ask questions of Liverpool's backline. 5
Subs:
Osorio (on 60, Timber): Failed to really have an impact. 5
Nketiah (on 72, Strand Larsen): Missed a good chance but scored from the spot. 6
Khalaili (on 87, Mingueza)
McNeil (on 87, Pino)
Subs not used: Benitez, Canvot, Chilwell, Doucoure, Hughes.
Liverpool
Alisson: Made a stunning reaction save to deny Kamada, shortly before Liverpool took the lead, and plenty of crucial saves after. Back to his best. 9
Ronald Araujo: Stuggled against Tyrick Mitchell and Yeremy Pino and picked up an early booking but was involved in the second goal. 6
Virgil van Dijk: Made a solid block to deny Jorgen Strand Larsen and was solid but will be annoyed at Liverpool's failure to keep a clean sheet. 8
Jeremy Jacquet: Much better defensively after having a poor game against Fenerbahce. Nearly scored just before half-time. 7
Milos Kerkez: Constantly pushed up but his final delivery wasn't good enough. Dealt well with the threat posed by Kamada and Mingueza. Conceded the penalty. 6
Alexis Mac Allister: Came close with a header early on and shortly after, scored his first Premier League goal of the season with a great header. 7
Dominik Szoboszlai: Got the assist for Mac Allister and was influential, particularly with his passing range. Could have had three assists in the first-half alone. 7
Cody Gakpo: Unlucky with his pull-back early on and always ensured Liverpool had an outlet down the flanks. 6
Florian Wirtz: Pressed really well and after an average first-half, finished nicely for his first Premier League goal of the season. Got the assist for Isak too. 8
Bradley Barcola: Looked dangerous but missed a sitter when he blazed over from close range. Got the assist for Wirtz after a good run down the right. 7
Alexander Isak: Looked on it from the outset. Made a smart run for Wirtz's goal and persisted well to get his goal late on. Now has seven in the league this season 7
Subs:
Nyoni (on 69, Szoboszlai): Didn't put a foot wrong. 6
Munoz (on 69, Barcola): Booked for diving. 5
Ngumoha (on 76, Gakpo)
Araujo (on 90, Gomez)
Koumas (on 90, Isak)
Subs not used: Mamardashvili, Endo, Tsimikas, McConnell.
