Suspect in Monaco Bombing Found Dead With Gunshot Wounds in Ukraine

Ukrainian authorities have confirmed the discovery of the body of a woman suspected of involvement in a bombing attack that took place in Monaco last week. The deceased has been identified as Anastasiia Berezovska.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, Berezovska was found dead with gunshot wounds to the head. Reports from the local newspaper Ukrainska Pravda specify that the body was located in an area near the capital city of Kyiv.
The suspect had been the target of a police manhunt following an explosion involving a parcel bomb. The attack targeted a Ukrainian millionaire and business tycoon who sustained injuries in the blast. Some reports indicate the targeted individual has links to Russia.
The prosecutor general's office in Ukraine confirmed the discovery of the body on Tuesday. In addition to the discovery of the suspect, officials stated that an employee has also been detained in connection with the case.
While the Security Service of Ukraine confirmed the death, other claims suggest the killing may have been carried out by a Ukrainian spy.
The incident follows a period of police investigation into the bombing, which authorities believe was a deliberate attempt to kill the Ukrainian tycoon. The investigation now shifts to the circumstances surrounding Berezovska's death and the role of the detained employee.
