NDC Reps candidate unveils support group

The House of Representatives candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress for Afikpo/Edda Federal Constituency, Chief Agwu Ama Agwu, on Sunday inaugurated a support group to help actualise his ambition in the January 2027 polls.
The support group, christened, ‘The Agwu Ama Movement,’ is made up of coordinators drawn from all the wards and local government areas in both Afikpo and Edda councils of the state.
The event, which took place at Ebuwana Civic Center, Edda LGA and Amuro Town Hall, Afikpo LGA, were attended by community leaders, women and youth groups, among others.
Speaking at the event, NDC standard bearer for the constituency, Agwu, urged party faithful and supporters to see the inauguration as a call to duty.
“If this structure wins elections, unity wins the future,” he said.
He called on the coordinators to return to their villages and ensure that no household was left behind in their assignment to deliver purposeful representation.
In his remark, the Director General of the Agwu Ama Movement, Chukwuma Oka, urged the stakeholders and ward coordinators to be loyal and synergise to ensure the victory of the candidate, comes in 2027.
“You are the engine room. Your loyalty, organisation, and discipline at the ward and village level will determine victory at the polls,” he said.
